Canada Infrastructure Bank makes major investment in hydrogen energy
$337 million loan to Vancouver's HTEC to expand operations in B.C. and Alberta
The Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) and HTEC have announced a partnership to expedite the expansion of hydrogen energy production and refuelling infrastructure.
The CIB will provide HTEC will a $337 million loan to expand the company’s operations in B.C. and Alberta. The money will be used for “implementation of HTEC's full-service, sustainable fuel supply chain focused on reducing emissions in the transportation sector, called H2 Gateway.”
